[REATTEMPTS] How do I authorize reattempts and returns?

Follow the steps below to authorize reattempts and returns.

What is a reattempt authorization?

Access

  1. Click Monitor > Visit Exceptions

  2. In the Visit Exceptions section, there are three columns for management:

    • Needs Action: The first column shows deliveries that still need to be managed.

    • In Progress: The middle column shows deliveries that are currently being managed, organized by customer or driver.

    • Accepted Returns: The last column shows returns that have been accepted.

Warning: Visit exceptions are available for management for 24 hours. After the route is completed, the reattempt information no longer appears.

Flow

  1. The first column begins to be populated with unsuccessful deliveries, with all the information.

  2. After the administrator clicks Manage for a delivery, it moves to the middle column for easier tracking. While the delivery is in the In Progress column, only the user who clicked Manage can make changes to it.

  3. In the middle column, you can click Reattempt / Return or Cancel.

    • Reattempt: a reattempt is a second visit done on the same day at the same delivery POC where the first failed attempt was made.

    • Return: there should be no return visit to the point where that first attempt was made, and the driver must return with the client's products at the end of the route.

  4. Clicking Cancel sends the information back to the first column.

  5. Clicking Reattempt / Return lets you choose between transferring to the customer or returning to the POS, filling in the other information if necessary.

On this screen, you can leave a message for the driver, let Foxtrot Systems choose the reattempt time, or select a specific time window. Foxtrot Systems will make every effort to sequence the route so the driver can complete the reattempt within the requested window.

    Reattempt time windows

  6. By clicking Confirm, the delivery goes to the right column and is sent back to the driver's route.
