[DRIVERS] How to create and manage driver groups?

Foxtrot Systems Web allows driver groups to be created to facilitate the day-to-day operation and improve data visibility. When inviting a new user you can also restrict access to certain groups of drivers.

For example: you can gather all the drivers of a specific supervisor in the same group, or maybe group them by type of vehicle. This way, you can also improve the visibility of a DC manager or supervisor by enabling them to see only one particular group instead of all of them.

Follow the instructions below to create and manage driver groups.

Creating driver groups

  1. Click Settings in the Account menu.

  2. Click Driver Groups.

  3. Click the CREATE DRIVER GROUP button.

  4. Enter the name you want to give to the new driver group, and select which drivers you want to be part of this new group.
You will also need to select which portal users will have visibility of this new group you are creating.
When finished configuring, do not forget to click the CREATE DRIVER GROUP button to save.

Managing driver groups

You can edit or delete existing driver groups from the Driver Groups page. Follow the steps below to update a group or remove one you no longer need.

  1. Click the name of the driver group you want to manage.

  2. Update the group settings as needed.

The default driver group, created automatically by Foxtrot Systems, All drivers, lets you change the group name and the users who can view it.

Any other driver group lets you change the name, the users who can view it and the drivers included in the group.

  3. Click UPDATE DRIVER GROUP to save your changes.

To delete a driver group, follow these steps:

  1. Find the driver group you want to remove.

  2. Click the delete button (X) on the right side of the group name.
