Sequence adherence is a 100% score per route and measures the driver's adherence to Foxtrot Systems' sequence recommendations.
Each customer visit/click is determined by whether a driver followed Foxtrot Systems' recommendation of which customer to visit next.
Sequence adherence is affected if the driver is following the correct order suggested by Foxtrot Systems. The start and end information in the DC is validated based on the latitude and longitude of the location collected by the driver's cell phone and crossed with the information from the previously sent DCs.
Foxtrot Systems Sequence Adherence is calculated based on each delivery attempt, that is, each time the driver makes a click of the delivery status.
Tip: An essential and very important target to achieve is that the driver's sequence adherence is above 85%.
Below is the formula used to calculate the sequence adherence:
sequence adherence =
(adhered clicks + forgiven clicks) / (adhered clicks + non-adhered clicks + forgiven clicks).
See below what each item represents.
Adhered clicks: if the driver clicks on the correct stop (the stop that the algorithm is suggesting), we give him points for that click, and a new sequence will be suggested based on his current location. That click becomes an adhered click.
Non-adhered clicks: if the driver clicks on the incorrect stop (a stop different from what the algorithm is suggesting), he will not receive points for that click, and a new sequence will be suggested based on his current location. That click becomes a non-adhered click.
Forgiven clicks: if the configuration is set to accept forgiven clicks, that is, its operation allows the first visit to be forgiven, the first click is always the driver's decision and can be forgiven. Why do we forgive the click from the first attempt?

No decision clicks: there are some cases where we are unable to determine sequence adherence for a customer visit, so the click is not considered in the calculation:
If the route is not being optimized in real time (technical or data problem)
If the attempt was authorized again by the CD (that is, the transfer occurred)
If it's a location that doesn't have a trusted location
